This is a logo I made using just the band's name, using our desired text that we decided on. I imported this text into photoshop, and used several effects such as blurring and graffiti to create the grey parts on the logo. The underlining shapes, the rectangles, were imported also and edited using Photoshop.
This logo is simple, but it is effective, especially in keeping with our video which is set in a derelict hospital, and the logo looks extremely weathered and run down.
We are planning our main album cover to be a shot of the hospital, with the logo in the top right corner. Perhaps the photograph will be sepia.
Below is a mockup of what our cover could look like. I made this using Word, and Photoshop.
