Planning: Greenscreen Storyboarding.

As part of the planning, I decided to create a storyboard specifically for the greenscreen shots. We are using the greenscreen strictly for performance shots-ie. the band playing and singing (lip syncing) to the song-Stay Together For The Kids. Each band member will be shot separately at first, using a medium shot. Then, all three members of Crooked Youth will be shot together, potentially using a tracking or panning shot.

We discussed what would be on the greenscreen, especially what might be too controversial. If we used certain destructive footage (e.g 9/11) then the music video would simply be deemed too offensive and immediately banned. However, our Media teacher suggested that burning an American flag would not be too controversial, but certainly controversial enough. We have not fully decided yet, but I believe the footage we use on the greenscreen will be destructive, and rebellious, like our band's image.
