The Clash are in the same musical genre of our study, majorly punk- albeit more musically flexible and varied(reggae, ska, dub, funk, rap, dance, and rockabilly). They appeal to the working class labourers, suggesting there is hope for them. They prove to be very anti authority, and they have made a huge cultural impact-especially with one of their songs: Rock The Casbah.
We instantly know who they are targeting their music at, why, and how. Their music was (and still is) incredibly popular, and we hope to promote the same image as our group is similar in various aspects (e.g anti authority/rebellious, targeted at an audience of young people, the same genre) and we also plan to work with the greenscreen some more today.
